I had some of my camping stuff down at BYU and a really fun simple date was to take my little backpack camp stove and when it was cold outside to go sit on a bench and make hot chocolate together out in the cold. A lot of fun.
One of my favorite days that I've had on campus was it was a double date and our date took us to do hide and seek in the library and we would have to like find each other in the library and it was really fun because we had each other's location so it kind of gave us an idea of where they were at but it doesn't give us like exact location and we just went and got ice cream afterwards it was so cheap it was so easy and it was just so much fun like there was hardly any planning and you got to know like the person you were on the date with really well it was my first day with that person and it was really really fun.
My favorite day is when I went to the Nickel Arcade in Provo.
Taco Bell
One of my favorite dates that I ever went on was one of my old roommates, he had suggested, hey, go mini golfing on campus. I'm like, what? So he explained it to me. Anyways, ended up taking this girl mini golfing around campus. What we did is we took around a cup that acted as like the hole that we were hitting it into and put it at different places that are across campus. Then we had a golf club and then plastic golf balls. They just were a little bit less dangerous, less likely to break stuff. But anyways, we just hit those around campus and it was a great chance to just be able to talk and explore campus and just have a really fun time. So I definitely would recommend, and there was a second date. So if that's something that you're like worried about, you know, it definitely did end up going well. So would recommend mini golfing across campus.
I think this topic could be favorite dates that were memorable but also went bad. Back when I was at BYU, we walked to Movies 8 once from Deseret Towers, which neither of those places are even there anymore. But to give you an idea, that's like walking from the Creamery on 9th to, uh, I don't even know what's there anymore. Just below the bottom of the hill on University is where the movie theater used to sit and we walked all the way there to see a dollar movie. Another time we went up Spanish Fork Canyon to try to hike to the Hot Pots after one of the dances and we were ill-equipped for the winter snowy weather and we were in flip-flops. We never made it. But I did also have fond memories of the dances that were in the Morris Center. Those were really fun times and fun memories for me.
My favorite date idea that I've gone on is you go to the DI and you find the craziest outfit, a shirt, pants, and one accessory for the other person and then you have to wear that crazy outfit to dinner and it's just super fun and you get lots of laughs.
One of my other favorite dates that I went on was just to go to the jazz game. I feel like it's so nice that we live so close to where they play and they always play fun opponents and so I think that's a really fun date to just go up to Salt Lake, maybe grab a bite to eat on the way up and then go to a jazz game. The tickets are pretty cheap so that's nice.
One date that I went on that I liked a lot was going axe throwing. I thought it was super fun and something that I had never done before which is always appreciated.
My favorite day I've been on was going to a Utah hockey game in Salt Lake. You can get tickets really cheap through BYU and so that would be a really fun date idea if you're looking to take someone to do something fun and different.
Me and four girls went on a date with four other guys, so it was a quad date, and they picked us up in a kidnapper van and it was so fun because we all got to be in the same car and we went to one of the Utah hockey club games. It was so fun. It was the best.
