A lot of people go to Vincitinho de Março, which is a big street fair in downtown São Paulo. That's kind of interesting. You can get a lot of ties very cheaply, a lot of knockoff merchandise. None of it's very high quality, but you can get off very cheap. And there's a lot of interesting historical exhibits. There's the Museum of the Portuguese Language in Brazil. There's some history museums. When I was there, the Brazilian Independence Monument was closed down, but it should be open now for the public to go see.

A couple places to visit in Brazil. I served my mission in Espirito Santo, just north of Rio, and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. It's right next to the beach, but then also if you drive in like an hour, 45 minutes, you're in the mountains. It's just so gorgeous. There's a place up in the mountains called Pedra Azul, and it's like just so cool. There's like little old farms, there's ponds, there's a huge rock, it's kind of a bluish color, and then in that same general area there's also just this little town, it's called Domingos Martins, and it was founded by Germans, and so it's like a ton of German culture. There are even people there that don't speak Portuguese, they just speak German, and it's just kind of a fun place to visit.
