So Armenia really prides themselves on being the first Christian nation and what they mean by that is that their government was the first to nationally adopt Christianity as a national religion and that happened in 301 AD. So they hold very strong to their Christian traditions there. They've been through a lot as a country. They were conquered by the Ottoman Turks about 100 years ago and we know that that was part of the Armenian Genocide when their most skilled, their most talented, smartest people were taken by the Turks and executed and that's, they still remember that today and they commemorate that every April 24th and remember their ancestors and those who died in that tragic event. They, after that, they were eventually put under Soviet rule and they lived in a communist regime for several decades until about 1990 when Russia withdrew and they began living in a capitalistic society.
