Your first impression of getting to Armenia is going to be the, not to make this sound bad, but the lack of color. Everything there, especially in like the winter and the fall and early spring, is like brown and gray because all the buildings there, most of the buildings there were built in the Soviet time. They just built every building the exact same, same materials, same dimensions, same color. By same color, I mean the color of concrete, basically. So everything there is very brown and gray and the buildings look really bad on the outside and really unsteady. But you go inside, you go into the apartments, a lot of them have been remodeled or at least somewhat updated in the last few years. They're not quite as bad on the inside. But your first impression seeing those buildings is like, wow, those must be abandoned. There's no way people live in those. And it's not so. And so, yeah, I think that's, those are some of the things that struck me upon entering the city.
