An interesting fact about Argentina is that when you go and knock on doors, you do not do the regular knocking. It doesn't work. People don't respond to it. But what you do is when you get to the door or get to the property, you knock. It gets the attention, just like my dog. And that's the reason. They get the attention of the dog that's inside, and then they bark and they run to the door. And that's how the people know, oh, someone's at my door. So then they go to the door and they talk to you, and they have to fight through their dog to get to actually to you. But that's an interesting fact about it. You do not knock, you clap.

Argentina is where the most beef is produced. It's pretty dang good. Definitely eat as much as you can, but be careful about that because you'll also get the meat sweats. Not fun when that happens, so be careful on Christmas and New Year's because you'll eat a lot.

Argentina is the beef capital of the world, so they have some of the greatest meat you'll ever try, honestly, and it's pretty cheap compared to the states. Another fact is that it's one of the most largest immigration countries in the world, so you're in South America, but the majority of the people you're going to meet are actually German descent, Chilean, Paraguayan from Brazil, from Bolivia, from Spain, and it is kind of intense and cool to see the mix of cultures that exists based on this thousands of different types of culture mixes from the immigrations from across the world throughout time.

A sequia is basically like a huge gutter that's like several feet deep and like several feet wide and it's all it's between the street and the sidewalk if there is a sidewalk um or the street in the houses and so you have to constantly be jumping these sequias um so that you can get from the street to the house or from from street to street because they're just everywhere um it's kind of like a curb but it's a deep gutter and you have to try not to fall into it especially if you're riding a bike everybody kind of falls into the sequia when they're riding the bike but it's kind of fun and unique um just a fun fact about Mendoza

So an interesting fact about Argentina and really most of South America in general is that they have what's called a siesta right in the middle of the day right around 1 to 4 p.m right after lunch. It's when everyone goes inside and they sleep and they literally roll up the sidewalks like nothing is open, no one's on the street. Another interesting fact is that dude there are like no paved roads there. I could seriously count how many paved roads I walked on with one hand. I mean all the roads are dirt man unless you're in like the big city like Resistencia, Corrientes, Capital. I mean it's there's no paved roads there.

I thought I was going to be eating a lot of spicy foods, a lot of beans, tacos, tortillas, that sort of thing, but I didn't have any of those three things even once. So in Argentina, all they eat is a lot of meat, just beef is their go-to, but they also eat a lot of chicken. And then their other main foods are bread, they eat a ton of French bread, and then a lot of pasta as well. And the reason why they have so much pasta is because a lot of Argentines are descendants of Italian immigrants that came over to Argentina, and a lot of them have Italian last names as well. It's pretty interesting.
