Some of the supplements I take for my anxiety are magnesium, 5-HTP, which is stuff that is in Turkey that makes you tired. I just take it in like a pill form. And I also take CBD oil. If I'm feeling super anxious, sometimes I'm going to take all three of them at once. And sometimes it'll make me a little bit tired, but it's definitely worth not feeling anxious anymore. And it is stuff that has actually helped and worked a lot of times, especially when I feel like I'm having a panic attack.

I had my first real experience with anxiety after I broke my leg and I developed anxiety from not moving and for a period of time I went on some medication that helped. I went on Lexapro but over time there were some side effects that I didn't appreciate and so I moved to a supplement called SAM-E. I purchased it on Amazon but you can find it in other places but it boosts your serotonin levels and it has worked fantastic for me and other family members of mine who experience anxiety. I lost some of the side effects I was having with the other medication and actually eventually over time I've not needed it anymore but it was the perfect next step to help me feel like I had some control in my anxiety journey.
