Travel tips - Albania Video Transcripts

The traffic there is pretty kind of crazy, to say the least, and it kind of surprised me the first time I saw it. A lot of tight roads, a lot of pretty aggressive drivers, but at the same time there are very few accidents, relatively few accidents, in comparison with how aggressive and dangerously close sometimes people drive. And I think the reason is because they're used to it, they are protective of their cars, and they are watching their front. If everyone watches their front, you don't really have to worry about your back. The person will stop what's behind you, hopefully.

I'm gonna be super honest. The weather is all over the place. Whether it's super cold in the north or the beach in the south, I would just be ready for anything. If you're super tall like me, bring clothes because there are a lot of shorter people in Albania so you may not be able to find a coat with arms long enough. And I ended up being in the beach town for winter so I didn't need a lot of my thermals but if I had been in the north then I would have needed them. So it's a little bit hard to pack for but I would just say be prepared with everything.

A lot of people are like, oh Albania, that's so scary. Eastern Europe, oh no. But the people are so nice and I think the scariest thing is the driving. So be careful when you're driving, but overall it's a safe place. The people are so nice. So just trust that. Don't worry that you're going to Eastern Europe because they're so nice. They're so awesome. They all believe in God.
