My biggest concern with AI is that people abuse it, that they don't use it righteously, and that they've become lazy and dependent on it and stop using critical thinking and replace all decision-making with AI. I don't think we'll get to that point immediately but I definitely think it could lead to that. It can sort of help people be misled.
One of the biggest controversies surrounding AI is the fact that it basically lifts ideas and concepts created by artists and writers and other humans who own legally the rights to that content and then it mixes it up just a little and then spits it back out. And this is a huge controversy because it's essentially stealing art from people who have created art and who could use that art. It really is stealing just the same as if someone would be pirating a video and so that's a huge problem that people are still trying to work out.
I would say my biggest concern is people just believing whatever they see. I think artificial intelligence is great, but it can also be taken a wrong way if it gets in the wrong hands and people can impersonate people or make videos of the president of the United States saying something crazy and it ends up people believe that because it looks and sounds just like him, but it actually isn't something that he said or she, but yeah, I think it can be quite challenging in the near future deciphering what is real and what is artificial intelligence.
