Remember this phrase, you're always auditioning. This will prevent you from saying stupid things in front of people who might make a difference in your acting career. The person you're doing the scene with might end up being the next director of the next project that you're trying to audition for. So just always keep in mind, you're always auditioning, whether it's in person or online.

One of the main places I see new actors go wrong is entering this energy of desperation and please hire me, please somebody pick me, please, please, please. There's a lot of actors in the world and so it's easy to feel like, oh my gosh, how do I stand out? And it's important to stand out and we wanna like respect the hustle and respect the grind, but energy is like BO. You can smell it on somebody else and sometimes they can't smell it on themselves and you can smell when someone's energy is coming from a place of desperation and trying to prove something versus coming from a genuine place of offering value and connection. People wanna work with people they like. There's a lot of talented people in the world. So you stand out by being your most authentic self and that's how people get to know you and that's how people want to work with you over and over again is by you being true to yourself and not having to come from this energy of like, please somebody like me, please somebody pick me because I promise you that will repel more than it will help. So I hope that helps.
