Duchesne). Golfing is really popular here. There are plenty of hiking trails and lakes around Roosevelt for outdoor enthusiasts (fossil hunting, hiking, boating, fishing, camping, etc.). Roosevelt, Utah: Advice

Any advice for people moving to Roosevelt?

  • Keep an open mind. And reach out to people. When we decided my husband needed to accept the job offer in Roosevelt, I still hadn’t seen it. Then as we drove into Duchesne County and Roosevelt city the first time, I said to myself, “What have we gotten ourselves into??” But I love this place! The people are great! And I’ve learned to love the surroundings for its own beauty. (Jennifer, 2.5 years)
