Top 40 Inspirational Book of Mormon Scriptures

The Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is the word of God and, like the Bible, gives us guidance and inspiration in our daily lives. Specifically, the Book of Mormon was prepared for our day so that we would learn and grow by readings the words of ancient prophets in the Americas. The Book of Mormon is specifically an account of the ancient inhabitants of the Americas and their dealings with God.

The prophet Joseph Smith, the first president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was called by God to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth and to translate the ancient record on gold plates that became the Book of Mormon. Regarding this book, Joseph Smith said, “The Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on this Earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts than by any other book.”

President Monson’s Testimony of the Book of Mormon

Thomas S. Monson, the previous prophet and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, has shared his thoughts on the importance of the Book of Mormon in our lives:

“In order for us to be strong and to withstand all the forces pulling us in the wrong direction … we must have our own testimony… Whether you are 12 or 112—or anywhere in between—you can know for yourself that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. Read the Book of Mormon. Ponder its teachings. Ask Heavenly Father if it is true. We have the promise that ‘if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.’”

“When we know the Book of Mormon is true, then it follows that Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet and that he saw God the Eternal Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.”

“From the pages of the Book of Mormon comes Moroni’s promise that through prayer, real intent, and faith in Christ, we may know the truth of these promises ‘by the power of the Holy Ghost’”

“[Along] with other latter-day prophets, I testify of the truthfulness of this ‘most correct of any book on earth,’ even the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ… Its message spans the earth and brings its readers to a knowledge of the truth. It is my testimony that the Book of Mormon changes lives. May each of us read it and reread it. And may we joyfully share our testimonies of its precious promises with all of God’s children.”

“Many of you … [already know] that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith is indeed a prophet, and that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. Some of you, however, may still be living on the testimony of others—your parents, your friends, your Church leaders. May I suggest that . . . you set aside time every day to find out for yourself if the Book of Mormon is a true book, for it will change your heart and change your life. If you seek this knowledge ‘with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ,’ I promise that you will receive an answer. And once you know that the Book of Mormon is true, then it will follow that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. You will have that burning testimony and knowledge that this church is true.”

“Such knowledge, such a personal testimony, is essential if we are to safely navigate the sometimes treacherous paths through life with the adversary attempting to deceive us at every turn. As you keep the flame of testimony burning brightly, you will become a beacon of righteousness—even a light—for all to see.”

Mosiah 4:9

“Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend.”

Nice work Alex. I read as the quotes and enjoyed thinking about my family as I read.

such a timely find in difficult and fragile times……working with Seminary students…..what a treasure to share with them……

Thank You SO much for arranging these…….. 🙂

Just found the Book of Mormon in my front yard. It had graffiti like writing on the cover, back, and side of the book. The word written in marker was spelt “Noder”. And on the side it was spelt “Knoder”. Looked like the book is vandalized. I’m not mormon either. Any suggestions on what this means and why on my property?

Hi Al, have you read the book ? You will find the real true about how the Americas were discovered, and how important are the native people from the Americas. Also you will discover about the future of these lands.

I have no idea what “Noder” or” Knoder” could mean, but, the BOOK OF MORMON is AWESOME! It is a great and truthful book. Read the “Introduction” and other pages at the beginning on the inside to get a better insight on the Book of Mormon. You can also pray to know if the words in the Introduction and the words and testimonies are true. This book of Holy Scripture has been a great blessing in my life and also for my family. Pray, pray, pray as you read it. Don’t just read it for information, but for inspiration for your life and to find answers to your prayers. Because if you do read for inspiration, ideas can come to you throughout the day, especially on days you read, of ways that God wants to bless you and others around you.

May God Bless you and help you discern between Truth and what is not truth that you may come across in your daily life!

This really makes my day🔆

This was amazing, as a Morman my self, I can say with full confidence that these are some of the most powerful and personally my favorite quotes. I think they’re inside the pure values our country has and should forever have.
