What are fun things to do in Green River?

What’s the crime like in Green River? (hot spot areas, etc.)

  • There is crime, but I have never seen or been affected by it personally. (Amy, 5 years)

  • Drugs are bad, but fairly mild otherwise. (Karie, 27 years)
  • There is crime, mostly petty stuff. There is drug use, and of course that leads to domestic violence. Though I believe that it definitely isn’t as bad as some people probably believe. (Lucy, 40 years)

Any advice for people moving to Green River?

  • If you have a good attitude and try to get to know people you can be happy almost anywhere. (Amy, 5 years)

  • Realizing I don’t have to speed to get somewhere…its only 5 minutes away. (Jessica, 17 years)

How do you think Green River will change over the next 10 years?

  • Young people will leave, old people and trees will die. (Juanita, 25 years)
  • I hope that we can bring in a bit more commerce to draw people from Rock Springs over more, and I hope that we continue to be a quiet, family friendly community. (Karie, 27 years)
