What’s your least favorite thing about living in Fulton?

What’s the crime like in Fulton? (hot spot areas, etc.)

- There’s a park no one knows the name of except they all call it crackhead park, so what’s that say… (Steve, 5 years)
- Mostly drugs and prostitution. (Trips, 12 years)

- Overall not terrible, Carver Park has a bad reputation and is usually pretty nasty despite the Parks departments efforts to clean it. Every now and again something big will happen, but usually it’s drug offenses. (Matt, 26 years)
- It’s everywhere, except maybe Tanglewood and Southwinds. But it’s definitely active at gas and go gas station, and fastlane. I have been asked to buy drugs, with my kids in the car, just trying to pump my gas. (this just happened last week). (Heather, 31 years)

- Can’t think of anything that stands out however, I love riding my horse in the Christmas parade. (Steve, 5 years)

How do you think Fulton will change over the next 10 years?
- More drugs, more trashy people…they keep reproducing. (Jay, 5 years)
- Not much. I can see it growing a little bit due to the new state hospital but I can’t really see that bringing in much more business. (Steve, 5 years)

- Fulton is getting bigger, unfortunately, but I think it is also becoming more young person friendly, more places to go to eat and drink (try the station- their alcoholic slushes are amazing), and hopefully the city will be able to clean up some abandoned properties giving Fulton a cleaner look.
