  • My neighbors wanting to help when my husband had surgery. (Jill, 7 years)
  • The local Mormon church group threw us a party when we moved in so the neighborhood could meet us. It was kind and unexpected. I was grateful for it. (Sarah, 7 years)
  • I loved to play and picnic in Mueller Park. (Hillary, 9 years)
  • Used to love to walk to the Queen Theater. Street is way too busy now! (Shelley, 12 years)
  • I’ve had too many to list – but one that sticks out in my mind is how all the neighbors rallied together after a big windstorm several years ago and pitched in to clean up the numerous downed trees throughout the city. They converged upon everyone’s house with chain saws and trucks and then cleaned everything up! (Bob, 16 years)
